APPEAL FOR RELIEF — TENNESSEE

The Grand Lodge of Tennessee is asking for assistance to help them recover from the tornadoes that struck on February 5, 2008. Damage was extensive and loss of life was very high. In fact, the Grand Lodge of Tennessee tells us that at least 5 of their members were killed in this devastating storm. Help in their recovery is urgent.

APPEAL FOR RELIEF – WASHINGTON

December 12, 2007

The Grand Lodge of Washington is asking for assistance to help them to recover from the devastating storm that occurred on December 3, 2007. Hurricane force winds of more than 90 miles per hour battered the coast and more than 11 inches of rain fell in a 48 hour period causing severe flooding and mudslides. Largely ignored in the media, nevertheless, the devastating results of the storm led to a declaration of a major disaster by both state and national authorities. The need for help is urgent.
